Pragya Jaiswal is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Telugu films. She was born on June 24, 1988 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. She completed her schooling in Jabalpur and graduated in law from Symbiosis International University, Pune. She started her career as a model and participated in various beauty pageants. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Virattu.
Jaiswal’s breakthrough came with the Telugu period drama Kanche (2015), for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.
